A guest blogger over at 100 Layer Cake has a terrific post about choosing the colors for her bridesmaid’s dresses.
I knew immediately that I wanted my bridesmaids to be able to choose the dress of their liking, but I really struggled on choosing a color. When DLB and I first started planning our wedding, I was really torn on what color I wanted my bridesmaids to wear. I went back and forth between three colors for months. First I wanted eggplant, then eggplant became yellow and yellow became red and red became eggplant again… sigh. I was so confused.

By now, we all know that weddings costs can be quite high. Thankfully, there are resources out there to help any couple do some of the work themselves to save some cash. There are also companies that provide more than one service, for example wedding photographers that offer cinematography and venues that provide catering. But, are brides ready go one step further and physically combine their wedding dress and their cake? No chance, but it’s a neat concept nonetheless.
