Fabulous, Fun Engagement Session

Posted by Chelsea Donnelly on July 1st, 2010

Another fabulous engagement session! This time from Jennifer Weiss of Jennifer Weiss Photography. As soon as Jennifer sent us the photos, we fell in love with them. The H letter, used as a prop, was something Jennifer found at Anthropologie. H is the first letter of both Greg and Laticia’s last names, so how fitting right!? Have a look at what Jennifer had to say below, and be sure to see her post about the session on her blog.

It was a cross country romance that started at the most idyllic place… 111 Love Street. That’s where Laticia and Greg first met. She is from California. He is from Florida. She was in town for a few days on business. A mutual friend encouraged them to meet up and one thing led to another. They managed to make their 2500 mile, long distance relationship work and just being around them, you can definitely feel their love.

Wedding Planning Information for New Brides

Posted by Anne Ohn on July 1st, 2010

As a new bride-to-be, planning a wedding can be an overwhelming task so I thought I’d put together a few resources for wedding planning information. I personally have been fascinated by weddings since I was a child and got married in the first grade on the playground to the dreamy Jimmy Tallon. Thankfully, I’ve gotten over my silly crushes enough to put together this list.

Finding Wedding Vendors

A great place to research wedding planning information would be wedding vendor guides and directories. You’ll find that there are a lot of them out there with vendors who want your business. These directories will allow you to browse a lot of wedding vendors in one place and look at pictures, bookmark the ones you like and/or contact them to get more information.

Katie and Matt in Hawaii

Posted by Chelsea Donnelly on June 30th, 2010

Today we get to bring you a truly adorable engagement session, in Hawaii! Anna from Anna Kim Photography did an amazing job capturing the couple, in the moment. You can truly see the love this couple has for each other through every picture. Here is what Anna had to say from the day.

Katie and Matt are newlyweds living on Oahu. They got married in Chicago two months ago, among family and friends and decided to have a last minute honeymoon on Maui before Matt is deployed to Iraq. He is leaving for an entire year, in just a few short days. It breaks my heart to think about being apart from my husband Elan for more than a week, let alone an entire year. It also makes me appreciate even more the profound sacrifices our troops and their families make for the safety of our country.
