Couple Gets Married at White Castle
Posted by Anne Ohn on March 9th, 2010An Indianapolis couple has won a wedding in a castle… a White Castle that is. Radio station X103 held a contest which Jeffrey Parks and Terri Sanders got the top prize, a fully catered wedding (with sliders and fries of course). The Rev. Don Stuck (also a disc jockey) performed the nuptials this last Thursday at the Shelby Street White Castle.

White Castle has actually taken Valentine’s Day reservations for the previous three years now. It includes a a reserved booth, meal, candles and even a waiter at some locations. There have also been a few other White Castle weddings. Here’s one, and another…
Jeff and Terri’s wedding matched the blue and white theme of the restaurant and included a cake topped with marzipan krinkle cut fries. The good reverend altered the traditional ceremony slightly:
“Dearly beloved we are gathered here today in the presence of the assistant manager and head cook in the hallowed and aroma filled halls of the Shelby Street White Castle. With this ring do you promise to allow Terri to keep you under her thumb and furthermore vow that together and forever you will rock and roll all night and party all day?”
